Sweden returned to the World Cup after missing 2022, guided by English coach Graham Potter through the UEFA playoffs. The squad is headlined by two of Europe's most in-form strikers: Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting CP, prolific in qualifying) and Alexander Isak (Newcastle United). Sweden face a tough Group F alongside the Netherlands, Japan, and Tunisia but have genuine depth across the squad.
Path to qualification
Qualified by winning UEFA Playoff Path B, defeating Ukraine in the semi-final and Poland 3-2 in the final.
