Colombia finished third in CONMEBOL qualifying after missing the 2022 World Cup entirely. Under Néstor Lorenzo, James Rodríguez (veteran creative force) and Luis Díaz (Liverpool) lead the attack. A 4-0 friendly win over Mexico in October 2025 demonstrated their quality. Group K alongside Portugal is challenging but Colombia are projected by many analysts as the second team to advance.
